THIS WILL BE A COMBINED OPEN SHOP FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO TURN, AND A WORKSHOP FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO EQUIP THEIR HOLLOWING RIG WITH A LASER AND CAMERA WITH JOHN RICHEY'S HELP.

Many members who attended the Steve Pritchard demo saw his hollowing rig with the video accessory, liked it and approached me about building one. John Richey has since built one and worked out some of the kinks.

You need to have a hollowing rig with an overhead arm for the laser for this to work.

John will be at the open shop on May 4 at 6pm. Those who are interested must purchase the equipment listed. He will provide required adapters, splitters, plugs and rare earth magnets for the monitor base. Total cost of what he will provide will be less than $10.00 you can also pick and choose. He will also assist with wiring and soldering the power connector to the monitor cable and assist with developing a method of attaching the camera to your hollowing rig.

Please register for the Open Shop so he gets enough materials.

You need to purchase the following and bring them to the open shop, John purchased his through Amazon Prime, these descriptions should get you to them.

Video camera; GERI 1/3" CMOS 700 TVL 2.8-12mm manual focus zoom lens security camera. $24.99
7" Video Monitor;  Padarsey 7" LED backlight TFT LCD monitor $26.56
12v Power supply;  Videosecu 12vdc 2a security camera regulated power supply $24.99
