What is this?
Topic:
Learn to make various wood earrings. The projects will be based on bowl gouge turning skills and spindle skills to make the jigs.
Skill Level:
Intermediate.
The pace of this class will assume you've completed the Turn & Learn spindle class and bowl turning class. With those foundational skills, we'll be able to spend more time on your ornament decorations.
Project:
Various kits will be available to make earrings.
Materials:
Blanks will be provided.
Pre-requisite:
Introduction to Woodturning and the OVWG LC or a prior T&L spindles series of classes and bowl turning classes. Also read and be familiar with the AAW Lathe Safety Guidelines and the Glossary of Woodturning Terms, available on the OVWG website in the document library or by clicking the following links:
