What is this?
Topic:
Learn to make various holiday ornaments. The projects will be based on spindle turning skills.
Skill Level:
Beginner.
The pace of this class will assume you've completed the Turn & Learn spindle classes. With those foundational skills, we'll be able to spend more time on your ornament decorations.
Project:
Various kits will be available to make icicles, snowmen, trees, colored lights and bell ornaments.
Materials:
Blanks will be provided. For a small additional fee at the class, you can acquire a gift box.
Pre-requisite:
Introduction to Woodturning and the OVWG LC or a prior T&L spindles series of classes. Also read and be familiar with the AAW Lathe Safety Guidelines and the Glossary of Woodturning Terms, available on the OVWG website in the document library or by clicking the following links:
