About this event
- Topic: Learn to make a snowflake holiday ornaments. The projects will be based on advanced spindle turning skills.
- Skill Level: Intermediate. The pace of this class will assume you've have experience with spindle turning including having turned a finial (though you need not be expert in the latter).
- Project: Form snowflake laminates, inlay them into a cross-drilled hardwood cube, turn a globe with inlay, turn a cap and finial to complete the ornament.
- Materials: Blanks, snowflakes, and glue will be provided
- Pre-requisite: Introduction to Woodturning and the OVWG LC, experience with finials or other delicate spindle work.
