About this event
- Topic: Learn to turn a basic lidded box. We will take a blank through shaping, hollowing, lid fitting and sanding. If time allows, we will also explore inlaying the top with a decorative inlay. Tools used will include gouges, scrapers, chucks, and sanding supplies..
- Skill Level: Intermediate skills, must have comfort and established abilities with gouges and scrapers.
- Project: Complete a turned box ready for finish.
- Materials: 3" x 3" x 6" blank and sandpaper (supplied). Specialty tools will be made available by the instructor.
- Pre-requisite: Introduction to Woodturning and the OVWG LC or a prior T&L series of classes.
