Donations

Help youngsters discover and enjoy the important satisfactions of actually making something with their hands and all the important creative and problem solving skills that go into the process. Too many youngsters these days simply don't have an opportunity to engage in the singular benefits of making an object with their hands and the pride associated with the result. Please help!

Such funds may be used at the discretion of the Board for benefit of the Guild - could be used for putting on training classes in the Clubhouse, purchase of tools, payment of instructors, etc.

Money raised by various means by OVWG to periodically sponsor scholarships for our member to grow their woodturning expertise and in turn share what they learn with the Club.

Funds donated will be used by the club for the earmarked purpose requested by the donor.

Such items contributed to the Guild may be used in the Clubhouse as needed, loaned out to members (usually beginners) upon request, and when determined to not be of use to the Guild, sold, donated to other groups, or auctioned at annual events. Funds derived from such auctioned items would then be deposited in the "General Contribution" fund. Contact the Club President (president@ovwg.org) if you wish to donate items here.
