Some of Dave's friends comments:

Leonard Cribbs

Dave was President when I first joined the club and I will always remember his corny jokes and pleasant demeanor.

Peyton Reed

I remember Dave's first joke on the day I first entered the Church basement:

A drunk wandered into the barroom and said,

"All woodturners are idiots!"

A guy seated at the bar turned around and said,

"I resent that statement!"

First guy,

"Why? Are you a woodturner?"

Second guy,

"No. I'm an idiot!"
