OVWG February Meeting and Classes
Just a quick reminder of the OVWG February Meeting and the unique opportunity to learn some new techniques and skills, with the availability of three different classes. The meeting will feature Christine Smith, where you will see how she turns boxes and adds special enhancements. Immediately following our meeting and her demonstration, the first session, of Pat Carroll's two session class will begin. On Sunday, Christine will hold her first class, where students will turn a box and learn the skill of carving a feather to enhance the box. On Sunday evening, Pat will conclude his class with the second session. Monday will consist of Christine's second class where participants will turn an off-center box and learn how to add embellishments to the lid. If you were looking for an opportunity to learn some new processes to add to your woodturning repertoire, this is the weekend to start. There has been a cancellation in Christine's Feather Box class so one spot is now available. There are still a couple of slots in both Christine's second class and Pat's class so you need to go to the Website and register now. |
