An update to the Event Registration process for the website is now in place for users and admins.  The primary functions have not changed, but the process was enhanced and shortened to make an event registration easier to complete for the user and to manage for the event admin.

 

For the User:

  • The new registration process reduces the number of pages required to complete an event registration.
  • The main screen was updated for a cleaner look and and is now part of the registration process.  The “Number of People Who Will Attend” option is displayed on the bottom section to start the process.
  • Clicking “Register Now” brings you to the bottom of the page to select the number of people attending.
  • Who’s Attending: you can choose the registration type and enter the contact info on the same screen.
  • Questions for multiple registrants or activities are displayed on a single question page.
  • For multi-activity events, all activities are displayed on the same page for selection.
  • For multi-activity events, registrants are notified when they are registering for an activity that overlaps with another.
  • Waivers: If a waiver is needed, each registrant can sign the waiver online.
  • Full Event: When an event reaches capacity, the calendar will display “Full” or “Waitlist” (if enabled) in the event name.
  • The number of spots available for an event is displayed at the top above the event name.

 

For the Event Admin:

 

Admin Options: The text link to access admin functions was replaced with the following icons:


  • Calendar: adds the event to a user’s calendar
  • Registrants: displays the list of registrants
  • Mark Attendance: Attendees can be added to one or more activities.  Waivers can also be selected for each attendee to sign.
  • Edit: Edit the event configuration
In the Events Manager, a new eyeball icon was added in the Search Results table to provide a direct link to the event configuration page.

 

Search: admins can search by other attributes (first or last name, nick name, company name) in the member contact list.

 

Waiver: Admins can bring up the waiver form for the member to sign on the Mark Attendance Screen when marking attendance in person.

 

Waitlist: Updates and fixes to the waitlist function is in progress and should be released in a future software update.
