Turning 2023 is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in all things woodturning.
- You have 50 demonstrations to pick from: 10 rotations of 5 demonstrations at a time - 4 on Friday, 4 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. See below for the rotation schedule.
- Five well known national and international professionals will show their skills. OVWG members and regional guests will round out the program.
- With delicious and reasonably priced on site dining you can enjoy fellowship with OVWG members, turners from around the region, and the professional and guest turners.
- Sixteen vendors (see the list below) will offer everything from lathes to sandpaper.
- Saturday evening's prime rib dinner will be followed by the entertaining live auction where you can collect work by the pro's and fellow turners.
- You are encouraged to bring your own work to display in the Instant Gallery. Those who do will receive a raffle ticket to win a prize of $50 in credit at the live auction.
Early bird registration pricing is still available until September 8.
Rooms are also still available in the onsite lodge. All available rooms have two queen beds. Check the registration page for details.
Blocks of rooms are also available at two local hotels: Holiday Inn Express (513-367-1111) and Super 8 (513-367-5200), just one exit away the Higher Ground exit on I-74. Be sure to mention you are attending the Ohio Valley Woodturners Guild Turning 2023 Symposium.
