Promoting the art and craft of wood turning in the greater Cincinnati area
Topic: Miniature Hollow Forms (+teapot): Participants will be introduced to turning mini hollow forms. Everyone will have the opportunity to create several different small hollow forms, of varying shapes and sizes. Laurent will also discuss gauging the thickness and introduce other ways you can use mini hollowing in teapots, ornaments, boxes and more.
Tools/Materials for participants to bring (if available): Tools you are comfortable using (bowl gouge, spindle gouge, parting tool).
Laurent will provide plenty of miniature hollowing tools for the class to share.
Skill Level: You need to be very comfortable rounding a blank, mounting it in the chuck, and making controlled cuts with bowl & spindle gouges.

Pre-requisite: Introduction to Woodturning and the OVWG LC or a prior Turn and Learn class.
