OXFORD EMPTY BOWLS
For the past several years the OVWG has supported to Oxford Empty Bowls event. This year the needs are even greater than ever as all of our local food banks and pantries are being stretched to meet the increasing demand for services. Please consider taking a few of the bowls you have setting around and donating them to this great cause. All the proceeds from the auction go to support local food banks. If you do not have a completed bowl handy, we will have an Open Shop this Friday, October 28, 2022 where you can turn a bowl to donate. Once-turned bowl blanks will be available for you to use. If you have first turned blanks that you would like to donate to this event, please drop them off at the Learning Center or contact me. To donate your completed bowls, either take them to the Learning Center and mark them for the Empty Bowls event or contact me and I will make arrangements with you to collect them. We need to collect the bowls no later than November 10, 2022. Thank you for your support of the very worthwhile program. |
