February OVWG Meeting
This month's OVWG Meeting is going to be a remote demonstration done via Zoom. In the interest of health and safety, the decision was made to not have an in-person meeting. You can go to the website Calendar and click on the meeting and register for the meeting. There is no charge for this registration but after you complete the registration you will receive a confirmation email which has the Zoom invitation and link to the session, so please make sure your current email address is in your profile on the website. If you do not register, you can still watch the session, as the invitation will be emailed to all members later in the week. As we did in the last Zoom meeting, we will have a time for "Show and Tell", so if you have some pieces that you would like to show the crowd, have them available and we will "spotlight" you so you can show and tell us about the piece(s).
We are testing the use of the registration process in preparation for next month when we plan to conduct a "hybrid" meeting that will allow in-person attendance as well as Zoom watching. Next month when you register and pay for the remote meeting you will receive the invitation for the Zoom session in the confirmation email. We are also looking into the option of allowing you to pay for the in-person meeting via the registration process. More information to come on that option.
