Just in time for the holidays and the perfect follow-up to the November meeting which may focus on holiday items ;-) .......
We're offering a hands-on class for making holiday ornaments! Creatively use your spindle turning skills to brighten the holidays. This is a great opportunity to hone your skills, new or old. All of the supplies will be provided to create icicles, snowmen, trees, colored light bulbs, and bell ornament styles including stylish hangers. Come have fun with your fellow turners! This class assumes you've completed spindle turning basics offered as part of the Turn & Learn sessions. Come join Bev Connelly and Mark Malmstrom for this brand new class offering on Sunday, November 21 (1:00 - 3:00). Class size is limited - so please register soon! Side note: when we surveyed for class interests, we had roughly 40 people interested in the introductory Turn & Learn classes (spindle and bowl turning). Those classes are available on the OVWG calendar and still have lots of openings. Please jump into the classes to join in the fun. It's a great way to make sawdust and friends!
