EMPTY BOWLS
The deadline for donations for the Oxford Empty Bowls auction is fast approaching. I need to deliver the bowls to the organizers next week and as of now the number of bowls is woefully lacking. The OVWG has supported this worthwhile event for the last few years and we have been able to help, by way of our contributions, in a very positive manner. Right now I have very few donations and I know I have heard several people say they have turned so many bowls that they do now know what to do with them. I will be at the Learning Center for an Open Shop Monday night so if you can drop them off there, I will pick them up. If you cannot get to the LC by then and have a donations (it does not have to be a bowl, it can be a vase, pen, or any other items that is hand made) I will try to arrange to pick it up from you. The proceeds from the auction goes to the local food banks, which are in need of supplies, so please help support the Oxford Empty Bowls Auction.
