Oxford Empty Bowls
For the past several years OVWG has participated in the Oxford Empty Bowls event which raises funds to support local food pantries. I am sure many of you have a big stash of bowls, that you have turned during the last several months, that could be used by the Empty Bowls group to help support the food pantries. The bowls are needed by mid October so the organizers can get them processed and ready to auction. If you would like to help with this worthy cause, you can drop off your donations at the Learning Center or contact me (David Wright) to make arrangements for pickup. Just put a note on the bowl(s) that they are for the Empty Bowls event and we will arrange for them to make their way to the auction. Let's see if we can make this a record setting year.
