Where have you been spending your time the last few months?
Some of you have spent the time expanding your talents past turning into things like carving, piercing, coloring, and all the other areas that turning can take you. You've shared pictures of your work with the rest of us but how about showing us where you've been creating your master pieces? Is there one place in your shop that you spend most of your time? Take a picture and send it to Gene webmaster@ovwg.org so he can put it on the web site. This might be at your lathe or maybe at a bench outside. If we asked Harvey Meyer to show us a picture of where he creates his work, he would show us a picture of a dentist chair. For those that don't know Harvey, he does basket illusions. Once he turns the piece and puts the beads on them, he sits in a dentist chair to do all that beautiful hand work. So, show everyone where you've spent the last few months working. I've seen many of your shops and they are great. I also know some of you have spent the last few months creating a new shop. How about some pictures?
When you send your pictures to Gene also send him a big Thank You. Gene has been the one creating those revolving pictures and those forums on our web site to keep everyone connected. Thank you Gene!
